We invite all professionals or academics who work or have an interest in research and industrial application of the lactic acid bacteria to submit an abstract.
Abstract deadline: Abstracts must not exceed 300 words. The deadline for Abstract Submission is the 15th June 2008.
Topics of interest include but they are not limited to:
- Development and Application of LAB
- Metabolism and functionality of LAB
- Genetics and molecular biology of LAB
We would very appreciate it if you would send your abstract coupled with a short introduction of yours, which should include the following information:
- Full Name,
- Academic degree,
- Name of Organization,
- your Position,
- Address,
- Phone and Fax numbers, and
- Email address.
You will receive an e-mail confirming the receipt. In case you do no receive a confirmation e-email, please re-send your abstract to asialab2008@gmail.com.
Abstracts will be selected and approved by the appointed academic committee. All successful presenters will be informed by 25th June 2007 by email. Full papers then will be required by 15th July 2008. Before submitting your paper please read the author guidelines.
Poster contributions are also encouraged. Please prepare your posters in English and bring them with yourself. If this is not possible, please contact us. Please send an abstract of your poster in advance.

The symposium will be conducted in English.
Full papers of the keynote lectures and abstracts of accepted papers and posters will be published in the symposium proceedings, under an ISBN reference.

I have read on your website.
I have two questions. (1) The first is: Is there any format for an (poster) abstract to be published in the symposium proceedins?
(2)And the other one is: In the “Guidelines for Posters,” it mentioned that poster Head should include the following items:
(a)left side: Institution (e.g.University) (b)right side: Logo of Institution)
(c)Additional Institution (e.g. Department, Faculty)
(d)Surname, First Name, email),
what should I arrange the above items in the proper positions of a poster?
